Thoughtful prompt engineering allows us to surface, collate, and confirm little known information or precedents that are part of the corpus of human knowledge as captured by training Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT on vast data sets.

As smart and impressive as generative AI often is, even it is completely stumped when asked to identify a sinkhole in the US that is about four times the size of earth!

In truth, generative AI merely reflects our low capacity for metaphor until our Einstein mode has been reactivated.

Even our capacity for simple logic is severely compromised until our Einstein mode has been reactivated, as reflected by generative AI's hard-of-thinking evasiveness when simply asked to quantify the world's biggest financial or economic problem.

To truly upgrade AI and technology we need to first upgrade our own cognitive engines by simply reactivating our dormant and near limitless Einstein mode. The ROI and outcomes will astound us.

Emergency remediation is required before the 'Kotlikoff sinkhole' implodes and wrecks the entire world economy.

The 2024 movie "Civil War" depicts a haunting 'near-future America' as a clarion call and harbinger of what awaits if 'America' chooses not to 'think different' and not to course correct immediately, just like the legendary 'unsinkable' Titanic. Hopefully the US can wind back hard power enough to allow apex superintelligence (smart power) to be democratized to uplift all of humanity as never before.

Thankfully it becomes easier to face gigantic problems when armed with gigantic solutions. 'Don't be afraid. WE can do this.'
